virgin proxies detectable?

For proxy being a fresh got nothing to do is it detectable. It's all about proxy's AnonyLevel. A proxy looks like a normal user when it's L1 and IP-address of the proxy originates from residential pool.
The smaller the AnonyLevel is, the more the proxy is anonymous.
AnonyLevels as follows:
HTTP Level 1 L1 [High Anonymous]: A proxy that does not identify itself as a proxy to site or reveal your IP-address.
HTTP Level 2 L2 [Anonymous]: Identifies itself as a proxy to site you visit but still hides your IP-address.
HTTP Level 3 L3 [Transparent]: These proxies are leaking your IP-address via proxy headers.
SOCKS proxies are always high anonymous.

SOCKS Proxy
Servers Though this protocol was developed long ago enough, it is rather new (compared to the HTTP proxy). SOCKS allows to work with any (version Socks 4 - with TCP, Socks 5 - with TCP and UDP) protocols. A socks proxy simply transfers data from a client to a server, not penetrating into this data contents (therefore it can work with HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, NNTP, etc.).

what proxy is more recommendable for an average internet user?
are there security or handling differences?
are there big price differences?
aren't almost all website based on http?

1. For an average internet user I recommend : private proxy.

a private proxy is recommended for an average internet user.
the difference between socks and HTTP proxies is that socks connections between client and server are encrypted.
from my opinion there will be a small price differences, but if you are looking for high anonymity you should think at a VPN (virtual private network) with a 256AES encryption.
thanks. i read the wikipedia articles and i guess a socks proxy is the right thing for me, cause its a little bit faster than http, encrypted and high anonymous. i dont want to watch videos online through a browser plugin, so i think a vpn won't be necassary
just to get sure. if i use a (virgin ip) socks proxy the website i visit will NOT notice that i even use a proxy and think i'm just some normal guy? and of course won't get my real ip!

Using Socks proxy is a good solution for internet anonymity and security but if you are looking for high anonymity you should choose a private VPN.
where is the difference between a socks proxy and a vpn if i just want to browse anonymously without watching videos online?
and how do i set up a vpn? isnt it much more difficult and expensive than just to configure the browser to use a socks proxy? i am not that technical...
and what exactly is the difference between a socks4 and a socks5 proxy?
