Viral with 5K friends

I was just wondering if you invited 5k friends to a fanpage what would you expect the minimum number of those to become a fan (assuming the page was not a piece of crap) not taking into account the page going viral?

Depends on how active your friends are, how targeted, how spammed with invites... when I invite 300 people some hours later there are 50 fans.

I bought an account with 5k friends and invited them all to my page, but in 3 day have only had 70 fans. This doesn't sound right, right?

I'd say you got a nice mafia wars/farmville account. Full of fake people or people only interested in those games.

If that's the case though, you can make a mafia wars or farmville page and get some nice fans.

if you invited 5000 friends to become fan there should be minimum of 2500 fans on your fan page after 2-3 days :S
