I recently created special effects video and posted it on tiktok and both of the video got viral about 22.8K views and probably like 3K likes. The funny part is it only got viral when I did a duet and not a regular post.

But after those 2 each time I post nothing happens barely get any views. Any thought?

Keep trying. Not every post will go viral. TikTok isn’t like IG. It’s quite random from my testing.

Not all videos go viral. For me its about 1 in 5 that exceeds my usual view number. If not your content is either bad or not optimized for the audience (attention span hook, etc.). If you want, PM me your username and I'll try and help.

Once you have a viral video---how do you monetize that traffic? Do you redirect them to instagram / some product webpage?

Going viral isn't easy, gotta think outside the box and use good content.

I recently went viral with a old video of the voice actors of Spongebob & Patrick simply got me 3.3m views and 27k followers currently, just keep posting man.

I've noticed a few people saying similar things and while there is a bit of debate at the moment, I'm sure the algorithm favours in-app engagement in some way. Perhaps videos created in the app perhaps duets and reacts. It would make sense from a business perspective for them.

Try with funny and different actions. many peoples like it. Your video gets viral.
