vip payment

im 24 days away from VIP expiring but the re - new option
isnt available for vip yet , when does the option to pay appear ?

Are you not subscribed already?

I think the option does not come if you have automatic payment enabled

I think you have to let it expire and contact a mod after. In my case, the subscription is auto-canceled once I renew.

no - i always sent payment manually to bhw from my paypal and
apricot would add another year on my account. as i had issues
with my paypal account.

as my PP had been hacked twice in the past, my bank refused to cover
any losses if it happened a third time, so i only keep minimal funds on
my pp acc and no CC.

now BHW vip sub req a cc on your pp to renew each year, but i was allowed
for for 6/7 yrs to send the payment manually to bhw, and they would add on the
extra year.

now DD says i must do from bhw payment page
but having never used it in 8 yrs, the option to hit pay doesnt even show as i never
payed through the forum for vip ---- you follow ?

I just checked. You'll receive three pms before your membership expires, they contain a link to the account upgrade page. The first one is sent 7 days before the deadline. I assume, that's the first occasion, when you can renew the membership, if you aren't on automatic renewal.

As per our pm’s back and forth on this last month yours is indeed a unique situation. You’re one of the few still on the old - old subscription platform. In your case you’ll need to wait until your subscription expires and then the payment button will be revealed to you. You can ignore the 7,3&1 day notification pm’s - then on March 5th 2021 as displayed next to your Jr. VIP the option to join the new membership payment platform will be made available to you. You’ll have the option of paying via credit card or PayPal and total control over your subscription directly from the Account Upgrades page. You’ll have a 7 day grace period from the 5th March to pay. Then going forward you can manage your payment method via the account upgrades page.
