VIP Membership Problem

I have paid for Jr. VIP membership one month before.
why not shows VIP now?

can u plz check and fix it.thanks

Nope.I have paid for vip,and after forum update,it change to Junior Member .very strange!
 
It is only showing donor status not VIP. Looks strange.
 
I am a donor, who recently passed the 100 post threshold. But I have been upgraded to "Junior Member", nor "Jr VIP". Anyone know why?
 
Junior VIP is a separate package than donor as per my knowledge. Why don't you contact the admins?

I did contact an admin, and my status changed from "Donor" to "Junior Member". My understanding is that if you are a donor, and then reach the criteria for Jr VIP, you can be change over at no extra cost. The same as if you waited until meeting the criteria for Jr VIP then purchasing it.

This is not correct. Donating money is NOT paying for Jr VIP membership. I had this same question a few months back. You'll need to pay for the Jr. VIP membership if you want it.
 
As far as the forum rules read, if you pay for donor, you have to pay again for jr vip or so i read last night -- looking for link and will post it here in a minute

Donor Membership Levels[/h]
A lot of people also ask about the benefits of becoming a Donor.

Usually people asking that are talking about the pink member level. Most people think of the pink level as 'Donor' members, but the pink level is actually called 'Premium'. Actually both Jr.VIP (blue) and Premium (pink) memberships are actually 'Donor' member levels.

The main purpose of Premium membership is for people that want to use images and links in their signature, but don't want to wait till they meet the qualifications for Jr.VIP. (It used to also let you make a BST thread, but the BST requirements have changed so this isn't the case anymore.)

If you donate to become a Premium member in order to get the benefit of links in your signature early, then you'll still need to donate to become a Jr.VIP when you qualify if you want to have access to the Jr.VIP forum. In other words if you want to use signature links without waiting to join Jr.VIP, you have to donate twice for that extra privilege.

(If you do want to become a Premium member so that you can use signature links, you need to read through the Forum Rules regarding signatures. There have been members in the past that were upset to find after they became Premium members that the links they wanted to use were still not allowed.)​

Your status as a donor did not change and as for "junior member"... That is only a title that reflects your post count. The person above you in the post I quoted is a "supreme member" and is designated that because gogol has over 1000 posts. No donor status or anything. Furious george is an "awesome member" based on his post count and has nothing to do with his vip status.

You have to meet certain criteria to be a jr vip. Here is a quote from the http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_jrvip about jr vip.

Just because you are a donor does not automatically give you jr vip status. You have to meet the criteria and also you have to make sure you use the proper form when donating.

Edit: OLDSALT chimed in and cleared up things. I thought donors had to pay again to upgrade to jr vip.... Guess I was wrong.

I would like to apologize - evidently I was incorrect in my interpretation and if a person upgrades to Donor before they are eligible for Jr VIP, they are required to pay again to be upgraded to Jr VIP.

I am sorry for anyone that I miss-informed and for telling jdog37 that he was wrong.
