This is also correct, they boost engagement on the first post then decide how much to push you based on that video's engagement.

This is incorrect. TikTok rewards you more for frequently posting original content. I've found 3-6 times a day is best.

FWIW, I'm literally meeting with the ByteDance staff right now (it's been all hands on deck since the CEO is here today for a town hall).

Would you mind going into more detail about how the AI works?

A lot of us are trying to bypass the AI with some editing so we can run the stolen videos as ads or organic posts.

Your help would be appreciated.

Considering I license creatives, create and edit my own videos I'm going to have to say:

Start being original.

Some of us are spending an hour to create a good 45 second video. Maybe you can put in some effort too!
 
Depends on the content mostly. Sometimes what's popular gets shafter, particularly if it's some dumb trend that catches on. Alternatively, if you're rehashing content, you'll want to consider changing how you edit or consider more original ones for better mileage.

TikTok boosts the first videos posted. After that it gets a bit random as TikTok is not a stable platform and views can drop randomly. Keep posting, consistency is key!
