Vidme

Anyone know much about vidme? Can you make any money from that site? Or is it still to small? Considering vidme while its still in its infancy, add some views maybe some likes and you keep rank pretty well I'm sure anyways what's your point of view? Worth it? .....Could it replace youtube Haha jk

I don't believe vidme will replace youtube, however it is quickly starting to grow full of desperate people wanting to grow, not people watching videos. If anyone wants to watch a video they go to youtube. Yes vidme has a tips method for monetization as well as a recently added subscribe button similar to twitch for earning money. Honestly, I wouldn't do vidme unless you are in a ranting niche or making a "I joined vidme, goodbye youtube" video since those always do well...why? Because most everyone on vidme hates youtube, so keep that in mind. Do something similar to that. Any other niche is better done on youtube. So gaming videos, reviews, tech, anything else will not grow you on vidme because people know it's a youtube already and won't bother watching on vidme.

The next biggest streaming service that offers ad revenue to creators is Dailymotion and even it can't compete with youtube.
Google owns Youtube it will always promote Youtube videos 1st in a search over any other streaming website. Vidme doesn't stand a chance.

No you should not waste much of your time over it.
Maybe its paying now but it can stop or make changes anytime.

Rely on youtube and try to build a good content related channel over it.
