Videos SEO and where to host them?

A client of mine has good amount of videos, 500+, we are totally redesigning the website now.

Client dose not like that the videos are hosted on their server.

Give me ideas on where to host videos, and how to optimise them for Search Engines.

I never dealt with videos specially.

You can host them on youtube.

The client is big, so is that a solution that a University would use?
Is that okej? Or I'll turn out to be an idiot if I say, lets host them on youtube

Get A dedicated server if you dont want to host on youtube.

viddler has a lot of hosting options and more importantly "customized embed" options that youtube doesn't have. screencast would also be cool, but that could add up. i think viddler is the way you'll want to go.
