Videos or Images in SERPs

For some queries, Google shows images or videos as first result or at least as results in the first page. How does Google decide when to show images or videos for a specific query?

Is it because people search for that query and then click images or videos? If Google decides that way to show or not to show images or videos in the first page, can that be forced by using microworkers? So, creating a job to search for a query and then going to videos immediately for example?

Would that make Google show video results for that query?
 
It all depends on the relevancy of the image or video that matches the search term.
 
I guess, Generally it happens due to the relevance and keywords search intent.
 
YT is also a prime source of Google's marketing streams. Can't blame.
 
it also depend with "alt image" or alt video" properties on that ... i think. because every item you have uploaded have a some description on it, i mean depend that.
