In the past I have had maybe 1 or 2 videos banned per month, but about 3 days ago I had a huge spike in videos banned, with 3 videos banned in one day. Since then more and more videos have been getting banned (all in the same niche). Is there anything I can do to stop my videos from continuously getting banned, or do I just sit around and wait for the competitor to move on? Normally I wouldn't have any issues taking a few hits, but this person is targeting all of my high view count videos.

That depends on where/how you are getting your content.

Are you ripping videos from other sources or posting original videos?

are all of the videos on one account? where did you find this video?

The videos are all on one account, and I got them off of youtube, but I edited all the videos.

There is your issue...not original content.

Sounds like you got busted ripping/duplicating/modifying content...which is a violation of their TOS.

I realize it is part of the issue, but I would think since the deletion rate has gone up so drastically it would mean someone is targeting my videos. EDIT: My account got a strike against it so I am just gonna move on to a new account, and let this one die out. Thanks for the help. FYI: My account got a strike against it, after I posted some commercials (5).

there is nothing wrong using other videos (content)we got from youtube and uploading them again as long as they are not copyright or violate youtube TOS's

Were they commercials edited into other video content that you ripping/collected?

That is an alteration of the original content, therefore, a TOS violation against copyright terms, protecting the original user/poster content.

That is the catch to that.

Sure, there is nothing wrong with using other content, ' as long as it doesn't violate the TOS or copyright of the original content '...which in this case, he has with his commericals/editing into the videos, which is a strike on both counts. Youtube clearly states that the videos may be used but not altered from their original state.

If you add anything to them, they are altered and you can be busted for that. It sounds like that is the issue here.

Use the content, by all means. Just keep in mind that the point is NOT to alter the original content. The catch 22 here is that you can post a seperate webpage or blog that plays videos from different sources in a rotator program and have no issue there, adding your commericals as SEPERATE files between the original content segments.

You just have to be smarter than they are and use their terms against them.

Originally I was getting videos deleted for god knows what, they were just videos off of youtube. The commercials I did edit, but only by removing the part that says when the game would come out since it was already out. That didn't prove as profitable as I thought it might be anyways. Lesson learned I guess thanks for the input
