Video Upload without flash - silverlight or any add-on

Hey All,

I disabled all add-ons on firefox so that YT doesn't detect my real ip or any information. However, when i upload videos it says "server refused the file". I tried upload on another computer with all add-ons enabled and the server took the file.

So how to upload without flash or java or silverlight? thanks in advance

Go to Google.com and type "What is my IP" and press Enter. If Google returns the correct answer then definitely YouTube also knows your IP. In other words, disabling add-ons does NOT conceal your true IP

Google returned the ip of the proxy. So i'm anonymous & even checked whoer.net

I only have a problem with uploading once i sign-in in youtube. Uploading returns "server has refused" im suspecting the absence of flash.. Anyone thinks the same?

P.S. I don't have alot of posts on the forum but not a complete noob. I'm using a dedicated private IP.. disabled all add-ons..auto cleared cache & cookies & i even went long and changed my timezone. So i have no problem with anonymity

Then why are you disabling those important plugins? Is that really necessary? Definitely you need Flash/Java/Silverlight otherwise you will always get the error The server has rejected the file

Check whoer.net and you'll know how flash & java give away your real information to youtube btw i solved it..i just signed out then back in and it worked! must have been a temporary error! cheers and thanks for replying
