my account got banned because of some of the bh videos i was trying to experiment..when i re-upload, it gives me a "video rejected" or something like..how do i bypass/overcome that and upload my videos again? i'm using a new account.

thanks!

Upload different videos, if you still get an error, change title, description, tags, etc.

Make sure to change the length of your videos as well.. if youtube recognizes the same videos being uploaded all the time they will reject.

You can either cut the video by just one second will do,,,or you can change the format, as in change it from avi or mp4 to wmv. Windows Live Movie Maker will do both of these tasks.

Also, as said before, change the title slightly and the tags. I reup my vids all the time because they get popular then assholes flag them. Never had a problem reuping them using the methods I just mentioned.

Youtube added your file's crc to their ban list. You have to reencode for it to ever work again.

What is the crc ?

Does it mean if even you change the video length YT would understand that it is the same video ?

When did YT start doing this? (crc to ban list)

CRC=cyclic redundancy check - I goggled it but the info I found out about it is a little over my head. Apparently it is a system for detecting changes in data that is transmitted...however it involves an algorithm and my math is not that advanced. I assume that it is a way that YT uses to detect duplicate content.

I have never had a problem with re-uping a video after I have changed the format,,,for example from an .avi file to a .wmv file. I have done this many times and the video has been uploaded successfully 100% of the time. Of course upload your video to a different account and use a different IP if you are paranoid, like I am.

you have 3 options:
1. add some intro (so the video length will different than the original)
2. re-encode the video into different codec. For example if the original video is: itsme.mp4 re-encode it to itsme.flv
3. do both :D
