Hey guys,

I am creating videos for youtube promotion. I have video screen capture software so I can record what I do on the desktop, ex typing and stuff, because that is how I need the videos to be. Then I convert the video and upload it to Youtube. The problem is that by the time it is upload the quality has gotten so much worse that I cant even read the message I type in the video, even in full screen. It is frustrating haha. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

thanks

try screen recording a powerpoint presentation. And make sure that your quality settings for the screen capture software is 480 or 720p at least. I am not sure what you are using but if you try screencast-o-matic it should usually give you pretty good results. It works well for me and the best part is, it is free.

Hope this helps

what format is your video in? try converting it to mp4 if it's not already. it has really good quality

I use from fivver and I only pay $5. for them made for me and they upload them for me.

I do it on Mac with a free Quick Time Player. It has screen capture function. Quality that I have goes up to 1080p.
