Video not ranking at all on Google?

I am trying to rank a YouTube video in Google, but it's been 1+ month and I still can't see myself in the SERPs of my targeted keywords (I'm only ranking for Yahoo right now), even though I have really powerful backlinks; good on-page SEO; video itself is great too; high retention views; etc.

Perhaps the latest search algorithm updates completely voided my strategy, or am I doing something wrong?

I know what you feel bro. Some days ago, while searching for a very competitive keyword, I found a video which stay at #2 (some times even #1) on Google with a few crap backlinks (according to ahref) and just created a few days ago

You never know what's going to happen with Google, it could show up any day now. That's why I like to work on several videos all at once. Some of them will pop up within days, others around two weeks, and I've had a few which took over a month. I've also had some that didn't show up at all in Google, even though I was doing all of the same things that I was doing with the others- I just move on from those. If I was you I'd start up another project while you're waiting, because there is nothing as frustrating as staring at your ranktracker every few hours (personal experience).

It's a complicated process but the key isn't just quality views and backlinks, it's making them look natural and drip-feeding them that's important. Also channel authority plays a fucking HUGE role in this so make sure you have alot of subs, your channel is old, and you have more than one video.

So you did repeat the process as described in your old YT journey and it doesn't work?
Strange, I have been ranking videos for several months now and didn't notice any changes... I don't think algorithm update is the reason.
