Video membership site - help needed!

I'm trying to host exclusive content on my website, using a VPS or a dedicated server to host the videos (don't want to deal with external hosts), anyways how do I make sure my content is as secure as possible in terms of getting downloaded, for average users at least.. what I can do to prevent it as much as possible? (I know it's impossible to completely stop it).
