Hello BHW
I'm looking to get some recommendations as to a (ideally) free video editor.
Something that has templates I can modify would be perfect.
The videos I'd be doing would be those typical image slideshow with some text on them things.
Corporate stuff.

Hi Bro, I usually use Sony Vegas and Camtasia for edit video

Camtasia would be my choice, I find it the most convenient.

So what did you go with? I am a newbie trying to do the same too. Corporate slide show stuff. With some music. Please share your experience.

MS PowerPoint is great and easy for slideshow type videos. Alternatively, you can use free editors such as like Lightworks, Camtasia etc.

I recently downloaded Vegas Pro 12 from pirate bay, very light editing tool and very handy, has many features. Perfect for photos+sounds
