As title really, where do people share their YouTube videos to to drive traffic? Facebook groups, Reddit etc. are there any benefits to this, or could it potentially harm my channel TIA

No, specially for the start of a YT channel it is very good to share your content. It shows the algorithm there’s interest for it.
