Hello,

for a private project I am looking for a video hoster that does not react to DMCA too quickly. Got an idea?

What type of videos are you looking to host?

Just short clips, sometimes an excerpt from a TV magazine, sometimes a video of my own. Dailymotion and YouTube have already deleted my content because of copyright requests, although from a 3rd party.

The longest one had 12 minutes.

Of course that is a question you shouldn't ask.. Is obviously. Dailymotion or Youtube have copyright restrict rules, specially Youtube that will analyze and check if is copyrighted content or not.

I can't recommend because of "shilling" sorry, see my older posts or look for offshore hosting in "search tool" you will find many..

go to any free movies watching website and see which video hosting service they are using. below is a list which I found who are hosting full length movies.
PS: I never used any of them.

streamtape
doodstream
mixdrop
upcloud
vidcloud
streamlare

+1 this is a good option also.. Thanks mate for mention that. At least they will remain up, rename the name of file to prevent going down to fast.

OP you have two choices or using offshore hosting or using any video website like those.

I used Mixdrop. Only disadvantage is that it cannot be easily embedded in Wordpress (and that my cookie plugin doesn't work properly with it).

Thanks, guys! I had that idea myself but couldn't find a hoster that allowed uploads - duh.

Check also bitchute or rumble is quite similar to youtube but less restrict. Give a try.

Bitchute, Odyssee, all down. Looking for a way to host videos on my shared hosting account. Any options?

Hosting videos in Shared hosting is not a great idea because resources are shared between clients like RAM, CPU and processes / inodes.

Is better to use VPS / Dedicated server. You have also Rumble is like Bitchute.

What you are hosting? Bitchute ignores DMCA if is theorys.

Cheers

The video is about 50 megabytes. It is a short clip from a TV show, a report on a company and it's head coach. Since it was not particularly positive, the guy is pissed to no end and regularly strikes it.

I hosted it on my shared hosting for the time being. Should only receive 2-3 plays per day max, so I hope I am good?

Like I said you are good but SHARED HOSTING resources like RAM,CPU and others are shared between clients.
If you cause issues to other clients you maybe suspended.

I advice you to use a VPS or embed in other video file sharing.

like doodstream, veed.io just change the name of your video and it will be up more time. ;)

These are all good options. It's been 2 years since you last posted, still working on this project? If so, which host is your favorite. I know doodstream has had some issues recently, but Streamtape has been doing pretty well....

AbeloHost is an offshore hosting provider (based in the Netherlands) that claims to ignore DMCA notices, unless explicitly required by Dutch courts.
