    ok folks

I cannot seem to work out how to get the video flick theme to work as I want :(

basically it is due to the way you have to manually add images to posts

this makes it hard to create an autoblog

anyone know a way of getting round the manual addition of thumbnail images?

Have you tried contacting Jason Schuller?

He might be able to help you out.

yeah I have as I did buy the theme (should have got a single license)

he says it is not possible to autoblog or the coding would take some time and he does not have that at the moment.

the vodpod theme auto blogs from vodpod, but not from any other autoblogging software :(

the problem I am getting my head around is that some of the sites using this theme are obviously auto updating (a few porn sites are using the theme and also some auto updating movie trailer sites)

but I cannot work out how they are doing it, unless they have used ninja html/css & php skills to bypass the manual upload of images.

now if they have done that they are keeping quiet

so i am stumped unless someone has anymore suggestions?

yes, it's called wp-image-cache plugin... it fetches all your hotlinked images and uploads them in your server. it even updates all the old posts with the new image url.

    hope it solves your problem.
