You must have to try Adobe After Effects for best video editing.
It'll provide all types of tools for editing videos easily and efficiently.
You must have to try it once for experiencing good services.

I don't understand why people keep recommend After Effects. It's a wonderful program, but it's not for video editing. Use Adobe Premiere.

I would advise to spend some time and learn basics of Adobe Premier. Though it's a professional software it's not too complicated to get started.

Camtasia is a good place to start for beginners. Adobe after effects is good for adding many Vfx but it look a bit intimidating for beginners.

If you are starting with video editing, try out Sony Vegas to grasp the concept.
    Then move onto After Effect.

    Its all in the practice.
