Hey guys,
I am in need of a video editing software to shorten my videos to bypass youtube's system of auto banning duplicate vids.
What do you guys suggest?
I am aware of camtasia but I want suggestions from other people.

Sony Vegas is my favourite and Bill Myers' YouTube channel has good tutorials for it but if you just want to shorten videos, Windows Movie Maker which should already be on your PC will be fine.

Haha alright, I just found a key for Camtasia so I might as well put that to good use.

Sony vegas and after effects for real results

Camtasia works but Sometimes ==> Not bypass duplicate vids

Sony Vegas => Create intro, effects, transitions, and normally it's good =)

youtube's system of auto banning duplicate vids.

You mean auto rejecting right ? Someone please advice, I thought they only do auto rejecting, while banning takes flags and others.

yeah, my bad. auto rejecting. i guess ill look around for sony vegas

I use VirtualDub, its free and very useful
I used a lot for my movies, change the format, add subtitles, etc

my favourite is after effects, but it takes time to learn. For your purpose camtasia is the best.

If you are simply trying to bypass their duplicate content warning, try VideoSpinBlaster. It's paid, but I'm sure you can find a crack for it somewhere. It will spin hundreds of videos at once, to make them all bypass Youtube's system.

Premiere Pro CS6 is nice, it has a 30 day trial as well.

You don't need to edit the video, just change the MD5 with a PHP script. Saves you the time rendering the videos.

I think Sony Vegas can help you a lot over any other software. Cos, they have several options to edit an existing video and change.

Hello.

+1 Adobe Softs. I like AfterEffects and Premiere Pro. Because when you edit one movie you can open it in many compositions in project and add different filters, colors, transitions copy paste texts and the best part you can add all these many compositions to render queue and go sleep when AE will render all your videos. And put output file as .FLV - the best format for YouTube

Hope It helps.

Good Luck
Martin

I use Cyberlink Power Director. Seems like a decent enough program to use. I use it for all my videos.

I've used Cyberlink Power Director for a while, but I found it had some hardware problems on my PC, maybe it was the cracked version I had but I can't be certain.

I looked for some alternatives online to see what else was there on the market and after testing a number of programs I stayed with Sony Vegas Pro 11, it works great and has a huge number of pros that just weren't there with Cyberlink's software.
