Video editing software

CapCut is super easy and gets the job done. But when I need more control, DaVinci Resolve is what I use — the free version is already powerful. Good combo to start with :)))

this thread is a year old already but i'm gonna share what tools i use, just two: CapCut for quick edits, and Adobe Premiere Pro for professionally made edits, more control while CapCut has all the shortcuts but not that many option to adjust effects manually
 
CapCut is great if you’re editing on your phone its super easy and made for short form videos. On desktop DaVinci Resolve is free and powerful once you get the hang of it. Adobe Premiere Rush is another solid option.
 
capcut is currently one of the free applications that offers the best free features and its pro version is also very affordable
 
OpenShot video editor is both free and open source. It is fairly simple and easy to use if you're not needing something super powerful.
 
Premiere pro, After Effects and Filmora is good softwares to start.
 
Many tools have been suggested to you above, all you need to do is to pick one, run with it and be consistent. If i may suggest, i will choose either camtasia or capcut
 
A lot of tools have already been suggested here — the key now is to pick one, stick with it, and stay consistent. If I had to recommend, I’d go with Camtasia or CapCut and build your workflow around that.
 
Awesome plan. For starting out, you can't beat CapCut — it's free, easy, and works on phone & computer. If you move to a desktop later, check out DaVinci Resolve (free and pro-level) or Adobe Premiere Pro (the industry standard). Focus on learning one tool really well first.

You have so many options for mobile and Pc video editing software. The main thing is that which makes you feel easy to edit video. I prefer you capcut if you are a begginer in this field because the capcut is easy to use and you can use it for both mobile and computer. On the other hand premier pro camtasia both are also can be used as a computer software. Premier pro is bit tough to use, you have to learn it before using it while the camtasia is also easy like capcut you can easily edit videos.
 
skip inshot. capcuts keyframing and optical flow are way better for retention, plus auto-captions save hours if you’re actually trying to scale.
 
I really like Premiere Pro, Capcut, etc., they are all some of the best software. You can give them a try.
 
When I first started, the top and easiest choice I found was CapCut. Its intuitive interface, trendy music library and ready made effects help you optimize videos for YouTube Shorts or Facebook extremely quickly. If you want to be more professional on a computer, you should learn Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve to master color and sound. Combining shooting with your phone and editing on CapCut is the most economical and effective way to start.
 
If you want something quick to publish instantly, I recommend LightCut; it has very good auto-edits. Capcut is only good if you pay for its premium version.
 
Interesting topic. I'm just testing editing apps myself—CapCut on mobile is super easy for quick posts, but Davinci Free gives more control when I want nicer edits. Not sure which is best for YouTube/IG/Facebook yet—what do you guys actually use day-to-day?
