Video editing software

Been using Adobe Premiere and After Effects. But I've heard that DaVinci is free and is good quality.

PremierePro is the best tool for editing. I dont understand how can people use CapCut for editing, looks like crap to me

CapCup is OK for people starting off. I wouldn't say it is crap. It depends on what you need it for. However, I have got to admit Premiere Pro is one of the best tools for video editing, although I personally used to use Vegas and I was happy with it.

Hi guys .

I would like to start social media content creation and this involves editing videos and posting online for monetisation .

I would like to know the video editing software that will be best fit for my need and the best phone app / computer software to learn.

This will be YouTube, Instagram and Facebook videos .

Basically shooting videos and editing

Thanks
Kine-master and capcut for phone edits

Honestly, start with CapCut on your phone; it's surprisingly powerful and free, then see if you even like editing before dropping money on the fancy stuff.

HitFilm Express is free and surprisingly powerful for starting out, plus YouTube's got tons of tutorials to get you rolling.

Premiere and Davinci are a bigger learning curve that Capcut also they cost more money. Capcut is free unless you want pro and AI effects.
I agree that Premiere Pro has a steep learning curve.

But it's soooo worth it in the long run. Industry standard, as said in previous replies to this post.

CapCut is all you need. Free, easy, works on phone & PC. Just learn it

i think you should learn how to use after effect way better and you can make crazy edits that pop up

ACDSee Luxea Pro is a great option if you're on a budget.

Personally, I do a lot of screen capture so I use Camtasia.

You can edit with Camtasia too, but its not as robust as Adobe Premiere.

Camtasia is also pretty expensive at around $300 for a license but I think it's the best if you're doing screen capture tutorials and stuff for courses or YT.

Read somewhere that Premiere Pro for horizontal edits and After Effects for vertical. kinda over simplistic way of explaining. but makes sense. Premiere handles projects with many clips arranged along a timeline, like working horizontally with video. After Effects excels at stacking layers and applying effects, similar to building vertically with visual elements.

Nowadays, several AI tools are available to create videos with customized content. Just make sure your prompt commands provide clear instructions to the tool for the best results.

The only thing you need are the Adobe products - don't let anyone tell you something else. Best of luck!
