I've seen a small herpes-like rash of video creation gigs popping up all around fiverr and the like. The one thing they ALL have in common in the robot like voice narrating the random images floating around the backgrounds... this isn't "good" but it makes me wonder if there is some cheap software out there that is making all of these videos. For T3 this wouldn't be horrible, and if there is a reasonable software it would be a lot more realistic than a one-time service. Any ideas what softwares are generating such videos?

but it's a bad choice man...should work though where competition is low...

Nah, I have seen that stuff. Garbage... what I've been seeing is a bit better than that in voice, though the video part is still poor quality. But what I'm thinking is that the sheer number of videos you can rank at T3 would be still valuable.

sorry but what's this T3?

Those "robot-like voices" are created with "Text-To-Speech"
programs and yes . . . they are poor quality. I have yet to
run into a text-to-speech application that closely resembles
a true human voice.

That made me laugh.
That would be a great sentence in a creative writing class. lol.

but back on topic... Yeah text to speech quality is still pretty horrible, and the videos you're talking about do look like crap.

You could possibly use something like this Power Talk with a powerpoint presentation and then capture the output with video recording software. Probably not what they are doing but you could probably get similar results. Possibly even better.

Y not pay $5 in fiverr for that voice over? Most of them offer up to 1 minute of 150 words max.

If you're not going for anything fancy, Windows Movie Maker is VERY easy to learn. I used to use it for editing out dead-air scenes, throwing up some text on screen, or having a very simple intro.
