Video Blog V.S Content Blog

Im working on a blog that deals with both videos and content on a certain niche. I know google loves content but, i find it so much easier to just upload videos i write on youtube and write a description on the video as a post.

Will my website rank well if the post are just videos with a description? (200 to 300 words).

Im going through the post and seeing lots of information social bookmarking and pinging which im going to implement.

Ive seen succesfull site such as worldstarhiphop.com and nahright.com were videos are only uploaded and rank real well in alexa

Yes they will rank well. I used to have a few video blogs but CPA was not big then.

Now I am looking at it again and starting some new blogs. I try to schedule a month worth of posts and then move to the next one.
