Hello everyone!

I own a sports page with 435k likes on Facebook and it is very active...well, as active as it can be. My links reach up to 20-30k people now and videos are just awesome, reaching up to 150k people. Considering that, I was doing some kind of "video" advertising. Basically, I would modify the video and add watermarks with my link (sports website). I also modified beginning so it says "Visit xxxxx.xxx for the latest sports news" before the video begins.

After a total of 100k video plays on a few videos, I received maybe 5 visits off it. Am I doing something wrong? Should I change something or it's not worth it - maybe people don't really pay attention to it?

Thanks!

There are very less people who would like to type links manually that too while watching a video, people are just interested in watching video and thn continue to their news feeds.

I think you should add your website link to the video description, soo that when you post video, people can easily click on that link. I am sute that will drive more traffic to your website.

There is a difference between saying go to www.myurl.com and a link to your site.
I had a script wich you can make videos at facebook viewable but with a link on the video so you can add clickable videos to facebook.
I think that might be bring more traffic to your website.

People are inherently lazy. No one wants to manually type in a URL.
