I just received an auto email from one of my best .edu spams, a high PR forum on a certain prestigious university website. I left 2 links in a big body of text so Google would swallow the deception.
It read "there has been a new post on your topic page (shown below)"
The scroll bar on the right started getting tinier and tinier.
Some lack-wit had posted no less than 2500 viagra links under my post. No text - just link after link after link.
I cannot comprehend the reasoning behind this. How can Google fail to notice that's spam and ignore it? No traffic to the site so nobody will be clicking the links.
Just wanted to share my exasperation, rant over!
