Very noobish question

So I created an account on media kings and went to go find a link to promote. My question is what do I do with the {request string} section. Do I leave it as is and just promote that link? And how do I know what the exact program is? Do I have to promote my own file?

All the link says is

Hey , What you do with the request string is to change it for the thing you want it for , for example you are leading people to download a lil wayne album in this case you rename the request string to lil wayne album . if you are leading people to download a game for example lets say red alert 4 , you change the request string to red alert 4 . if you have anymore questions feel free to ask .
