Very newbie question

Please bear with me, I know this is a newbie question, but I am new to IM and I was curious, how does social media follower/comments/like help improve making money?

-- I see that you can buy followers/like/comments, how would these help?

If you're thinking what does real followers on social media do for your business, well, they kinda will pay for your service, products, click on something that pays you, etc... Comments & Likes, they serve so your social media account gets more attention to others.

If you're thinking at fake followers, likes, comments, they (can) serve to boost your social media.

Comments and fake like worked two years ago. build quality content only.

Those things help you to build your social media profiles. For example if you have brand new social profile which has no followers no likes and no comments then it's really hard to get going since people tend to follow/comment/like pages posts which are highly active. So you so add bit of fake activity to show that your post,page,account,profile is active.
