Hi everyone!

I was wandering around Amazon a few minutes ago (currently working on authority sites with affiliations) and an idea came to my mind:

Create a multiniche site.
Let's try to explain: I have a domain, whose title hasn't any meaning, and I would like to use it to build a WordPress site with gigantic articles (like 7k words each) about different products going from gardening to kitchen tools to tech tools...
Every post would be focused on a very narrow category of products, and would include a description of the product and a few small reviews.

Do you think Big G would get angry at my site and make ranking it difficult?

There is nothing wrong with that approach, many big sites are doing that. You want to make a top 5 kind of site? A strategy you can use is target a lot of long tail keywords to rank for. Example, if you are writing a post on best hedge trimmer, focus on writing long form content on long tails such as hedge trimmer with longest handle. I hope you get the drift.

If you're planning on a authority site, there's nothing wrong with the approach. But I hope you know the kind of resources you should have access to in order for this project to take off the ground right from the word go.

This kind of project requires massive high quality content, and a lot of keyword research.

Yes, I would like to create something like "Best refrigerators 2016", inserting this keyword as an h2 in a longer text, a really long one, about refrigerators, with each part of the text focusing on a specific keyphrase.
I am not yet sure about a thing: should I create a structure like:
home
--single page about product A
--single page about product B
...
--single page about product Z

or

home
-page1 about product A
--page2 about product A
--page3 about product A
-page1 about product B
--page2 about product B
--page3 about product B
...
-page1 about product Z
--page2 about product Z
--page3 about product Z

No, unfortunately not: this is my first time doing something similar... Is it something related to PBNs?

I would go with the first approach, that is single page about product A and so on

This is definitely do-able, but hard when starting off. I suggest starting with one niche first, and as you try to rank that one niche, expand to another one that may be similar. If you don't focus on one area and start building multiple niches, you'll just have a website about many topics without any rankings

The only downside is if you get slapped, you lose EVERYTHING. If I were you, I would create multiple niche site and make them an authority in their respective niche.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Nothing Wrong. Build Authority Site, Google like it.

But, if there is any wrong you will lose everything.

Focus on 1 categorie and 3-4 sub categories rather than focusing on all.

You can easily handle everything very well.
