Very low traffic on my affiliate website. Need Help

After learning from BHW, I created a affiliate website. The website is almost 3 months old and still there are very low traffic on my website. Can anyone tell me how can i generate traffic on my website?

What have you been doing to try and get traffic?

Its generally very hard to get traffic by simply creating a post and leaving it to get picked up, you need to actually market the content. (unless your very good at SEO and its well optimised or the keyword is incredibly low in competition)

Build some back links to your site, id always recommend doing it naturally and to relevant sites. Blog commenting can be a good option but again only comment on blogs that are relating to your niche and add useful blog comments IE actually read the post your commenting on.

You could also look into the socials for traffic, it is a slow process but depending on your niche Instagram and Pinterest can be particular good traffic sources.

Building a blog comment and review websites usually work for you.

Many people buy backlinks from review websites to their web site.

This is only for branding, but I like blog comments, that tweet traffic but low conversion

The best way is to know about your audience what they expecting from your website. If you analyze your traffic with the help of analytics then you have got a clear idea about it because the analytics shows you how the individual users interact with your website and shows how many of them are unique and repeats.

After knowing what is and isn't attracting your visitors then you will get an idea to do something to attract the quality traffic to your website.
