I've been content locking since March and have been wondering wether my conversions are normal or a bit on the low side.

    7500 Locker Clicks - 216 Conversions (2.88%)

This was with Sharecash, on average its like 1-3 conversions a day. I Decided to go with Content Locker Pro now but I havn't seen any real improvements yet in the last 3 days.

Is such a low conversions normal? I'm content locking a download, right now and have created a fake mediafire download page which pops up the content locker and redirects to the download on mediafire after completion. Is this the right way?

Reposting this in the right format since my other post got deleted...
Notice at WizGizmo. I can't PM you, but i'm not selling or promoting anything i'm just looking for content locking advice. Dont assume things please, you can even ban me if I try to promote anything in here heh....

With content locking the main thing that you have to work on is the perception that the user will get exactly what they want after the offer has been completed. So if you have a blog page, depending on what you are locking have an example of it.

Like if it is codes for something have a selection of like 5 codes and put if these are gone go here to get some more LINK. This will increase the confidence of the user for the fact that you are actually going to give them what they want and should increase your conversion rate.

    Hope that helps!

Your conversion rate should be high, but you can try out with different content and try to give a appeal as real for the users to participate in the offer.

I don't thing it's your content locker... You need to change your squeeze page and give the users more incentive to whatever they are looking for.

I have seen great success with giving the visitor instructions on what to do, for instance let's say you're trying to incentivize an download. (first make sure your offer it's HIGHLY targeted)

Try creating a page that will buffer and qualify the users.
    ie.
    1. user hits home page, it says "click here" to view offer.
    2. user hits squeeze page, it says
"this is how you get the offer...

    1. click here to find offer.
    2. enter information required.
    3. complete a survey (this is part of the registration process)
    4. grab offer.

    See how this works.

Oh and remove any other distractions from the buffer page (adsense etc.), just keep ONE hard call to action.

See if this changes your CTR.
