Hey All,

I came across this post while searching on Google. Basically it was a discussion about how to cheat the CPA networks. It talks about a hypothetical scenario using some custom web application to cheat the CPA networks, to me as a developer it sounds very doable, what do you all think?

Is this type of thing already happening?

So, let?s say someone creates 1mm yahoo/hotmail/aol/etc. email accounts so as to never worry about spam complaints from your advertisers? offers.

She then takes a list of REAL physical addresses so your advertiser can send as much junk mail as they want.

Then, she deploys a web-based app that launches and runs from a site where the visitor is required to stay from 15-90 seconds.. whether with captcha that doesn?t ?work? or funny videos with random times, or a traffic exchange with a timer.

Her little app (we?ll call it Clicker2000 for shits) runs in a pixel, using the visitors IP, browser info, and whatever the fuck else it wants to while filling shit out, signing up for info, completing offers, and closing out?. RANDOMLY

Then, once or twice a day, Clicker2000 logs into the emails, and follows the links sent from advertisers, unsubscribes from time to time, and occasionally sends a ?Fuck You Stop emailing me!? email back to the autoresponder.

I?m sure Clicker2000 probably has a few more features, but the main question is this:

do you think you guys could sniff out a really well thought out ai program piggy-backing off of client ips?

As for me? I just have my mom fill in offers at diffrent starbucks, Borders, and kinko?s all day.

Interesting concept and similar applications do exist. I'm not sure it'd be smooth enough to prevent being nicked off the network for cheating.

I don't think that this will work too well as the networks will see that your leads are not converting to actual sales and will drop you from the programs.

i would love to have a software that do that.....and i wish i can program.....
