Hi all just thought I'd report on some backlink posters and bookmarkers that I have been checking out as I actually got some serious success from it!
I figurted someone here might want to know of at least some theory that actually is not just hot air and does actually work!
So here is my story (up to now):
I started out by buying the Angelas links for $5 and the Pauls packs for $8 and I got down to the dirty tedious work of creating accounts and all that posting and stuff (yawn!).
Then I figured my time was worth more than it probably cost to use some of these guys out there who are offering to do it for reasonable cheap money.
I tried out Ninjutsu from his BHW posts and he did me a nice job in about 5 or 6 days (with a soft reminder!) and I got a nice report back with the sites etc... There were 3 links per profile posted in this trial.
I also tried out NextGenLinks.com where you can add 8 links per domain per day.
I tried themarketersedge who not only create the angelas type thing but also bookmark the profiles created (and I think they ping them but I didn't ask for that). They recommended only 2 links per profile so I agreed to that.
I looked at http://backlinkbuild but $295 for 45 links is just crazy so I left them alone!
I also tried paidbacklinks who offered me 10 free links as an incentive but they ended up being on non PR sites (mainly blogs) that I think they must have bought as expiring domains and many of them I think were Chinese!
Finally I tried justbacklinks who claimed to have 14 years experience blah blah blah...
Some of them did the job fast and others like themarketersedge.info did it more of a drip method.
They are all roughly the same cost.
They all did me a report.
Success or Failure?
Did it work?
Well yes and no.
BUT one of them really did work I am pleased to say and the jury is out on others still...
The outcome is not 100% conclusive yet I don't think because it is too soon maybe BUT there is one thing that is VERY clear so far which I think you should know about and that is that out of all the sites promoted only one actually shines so far.
The BEST result is the one I did with themarketersedge.info and they seem to have had the best result so far with a number one position actually for the key phrase requested and in less than a month!!! (very happy paying client!)
Strangely they are the least professional looking at face value of their web site but I guess you should never judge a book by it's cover eh?
The only difference I can see with what they did compared to what the others do is that they dripped the links slowly and then they bookmarked them. They also only posted two anchor text or open links.
My guess is this appeared to be more natural and so it is the best result.
Obviously this may change over then next couple of months so I will keep you posted.
:google2: My conclusion therefore is that marketeredge comes in number one and Ninjutsu in second place.
The rest I wouldn't bother with again and I think there is a value in pottering on yourself with the Angela and Paul packets if you have time to spend.
If you use any of these guys then make sure they drip it slowly and then bookmark the profiles.
Of the paid services obviously I like the one with the best result themarketersedge best as they got me a number one slot for $67 for 30 links and bookmarks and that result is still there over a week later.
The least liked one was NextGenLinks.com who actually have quite a clever system but it requires WAY too much daily work from me to keep it going and at $77 a month they should be doing that work imho! I have cancelled it.
I might buy bookmarking demon or bookmarkwhiz because of this useful knowledge and even try a few more by hand to see if I can reproduce the result myself.
I am also now going to try directory posting with first trial on directorymaximizer.com to see if directory submission actually works.
Anyone else had any good success on backlinks and bookmarks?
Anyone any advice for directory posting?
Anyone recommend BMD over BMWiz ?
I'll post again in a month with what if anything has changed.
Until then I am going for a rest on the beach while you guys make all the money!
:beach2:
Ps I also have Xrumer and will be testing that too so any advice on set up would be welcome as it looks a right old complicated beast!
