Im trying to get into copywriting and Ive see these copywriting services online that charge up to $25k for one page; Im assuming for 2000 words or so. Is this legit or just overcharging?

Legit. When your copy generates 100s of thousands of dollars, you can charge $25k

Can you point out some examples of copy that good or actual websites and companies that charge that much for it? Also, do they exist on upwork? Thanks.

Copywriting is a lot of research and effort. It needs to be done based on your unique business model; the industry you are in; the product or service you are offering and how it fits into your business, etc. I wouldn't subscribe to all these words "high quality" but this, if executed properly, can help you get more visibility and traction in the market.

You need to be on your search the BHW marketplace or web thoroughly. There are plenty of copywriting services online and you will definitely find one that suits your needs. You can access these services online by using the keywords "copywriting services" or something similar in Google search box.

I am neither google nor your research intern, friend.

This has nothing to do with the content; this has to do with the domain...
?? Email marketing not exist to you? Also, vast majority of successful domains get their traffic from ads. You're just thinking about ranked sites.

Do you read the spam email that comes into your inbox? Also I really doubt they get their human traffic from ads...traffic may be sure, but conversions, no, bots don't buy...

I hate when people who clearly know nothing speak with such authority.

First, just bc I or you don't read junk emails doesn't mean others don't.

Secondly, I actually do read junk email. It is a great source for leads. I go into my junk mail on a weekly basis, choose the companies that seem to actually make money and pitch them email marketing related services, including rewriting their emails....bc they have an actual good product/service but aren't able to inbox their emails.

Thirdly, you keep literally defaulting to the lowest hanging fruit...first assuming only high ranking domains utilize copywriting and now assuming email marketing by default means spamming. You don't understand copy writing AT ALL.

Domains, domains, domains....how about brand communication? How about opt in email lists, how about Google ads, how about Facebook ads, Facebook groups, Instagram, Twitter, youtube, etc.... rather dense to not realize all those platforms are simply traffic generators. All traffic generators lead to another platform used to convert, mainly a website. Guess what you need on those websites? Great copy to convert. Guess what you need after converting? Another way to keep communicating with customers so you can sell them something else. There's a reason all marketers say "build your email list".

You're so myopic in your understanding of what copywriting is, you've missed the whole point.

As everyone states above. If you can bring eyes to a service and close the sale, the yeah—you’re worth 25k

High-priced copywriting services, charging $25k for a single page, can be legitimate if you offer specialized expertise, in-depth research, tailored content, and a proven track record of delivering results. In simple if your service is worth that, you can charge.

I think it depends on the reputation of the copywriter and his speciality/niche.

With copywriting the word count doesn't matter like it does with content writing. If you can produce a winning piece that converts at a great percentage then you can charge a pretty penny for it regardless of word count. Companies will invest many thousands of dollars into a proven copywriter with a good track record because they know they're going to get insane levels of ROI from it.

Secondly, I actually do read junk email.
I always check spam box cause of my curiosity. I get piss*d cause there's usually nothing useful there.

But I actually open those messages more frequently than non-spammy ones.

Call me crazy.
