if this is the case the domain can't transfer due to ICANN policy. the domain should be at-least 60 days old to qualify a transfer to the new owner.

no... you have to think about how much Joshua Homme himself will pay for it since he is obviously a multi millionaire by now.

If you present it to him in a certain way, he will be on the fence about making a decision or not.

You never know. You have to keep your mind open with these things.
