Ok everyone in the ebay game knows about Vero products and A TON of people sell them. Do you think taking a picture of a vero item with a receipt beside the item would let you fly under the radar just a bit more? Of course the receipt wouldn't be readable just enough to see there is a receipt in the picture.

Thoughts?

It will help with eBay, but not PayPal. PayPal software will eventually flag you. They will then want a receipt or invoice uploaded. A trick to be used if that happend is to google a authorized dealer or seller of that item. Then creat a invoice with that company and there logo. I did that with Microsoft products for years. You almost have to because Microsoft doesn't want you selling there stuff like OEMs. In case people don't know it is legal to sell your OEM. Ebay just doesn't let you.

Easy way to get hold of receipts is to buy the item for and them return it to the store a couple of days later for a refund (having scanned the receipt in the meantime).

That way you always a handy receipt should the need arise to upload one.

You just need to make sure that the store your buying from will refund you using the same method that you used to pay (and not store gift vouchers) - this varies from retailers to retailer.

Your idea with taking pictures instead of using stock phots will work. I speak from experience. They are concerned about you dropshipping and not exactly having the item there with you. They don't want you selling items that you don't actually have. This disappoints buyers if you have to refund because the item is suddently out of stock. Plus the Vero companies can't accuse you of selling counterfeit items if you show them pics of the actual product that you took and not pics that you swiped from sites like g00gle images or flkr. And there are websites out there that will enable you to make your own receipt. If they ask, just tell them you bought the item at a mall kiosk if possible for the product you're selling.

Thanks for your input, i will consider these... Can you mention one of the sites that allow you to make receipts?
