Hello, New member here. I have a question about a Vero email that was sent to me today. My ebay account was frozen for 30 days for selling an item that infringed on copyright policy. I contacted Vero and explained that I had no proof that the item was not authentic. I was simply just buying wholesale from a supplier and reselling this product. The Vero emailed me today:
We would like to request that you ship one of the ***** for authentication verification.

In the interim, we will temporarily reinstate the listings therefore allowing you to use your eBay seller account. Once we have verified the authenticity of the tools being sold, we will ship them back to you and again consider your listings for reinstatement.

I explained to them that I had no proof or knowledge that the item was counterfeit. After doin research, I am 100% sure the item is fakes. Should I send the Vero a fake that I have or could I send an authentic item bought at a store? I agreed to stop selling this item. I have found a new niche market that is 100% authentic items. I simply want my 30 day suspension up. What should I do?
Any advice is appreciated.
