Verifying A Fan Page - Help!

Hello everyone.

I've come to the stage where i need to verify my fan page, buy linking it to a website:

You must confirm this Page's affiliation with the brand, company, person, or entity that it represents. Please take one of the following actions:

1. Link to your Facebook Page from your official website.
2. Add an email address to your account or another administrator to your Page who has an email address that is officially affiliated with your company or a company authorized to manage your brand (e.g. management company or PR firm).

If you are unable to authenticate your Page in the next three weeks, you may lose the ability to publish stories to your Fans.

I have heard you can use a blog, so i chose to go along with "blogger". I'm about to right a blog, and i've heard if you put in a fan page badge then thats ok.


Can anyone point me in the right direction?
What will verify me, and what won't?

I think i've got it sorted now, but if you still want to post here thats fine! :)

If i'm right, i made a blog, added a widget which was a logo linked to my page, aswell as a fans box.
 
Nicely done. Thats all you need to do. Thank god they don't ask for anything more complicated than that.
 
yep all the above is fine mate.. i use blogger normally lo. and i too wil have a page needing authentication soon

I was about to do the other 2 steps, until i read you only had to chose one of the following :rolleyes:
 
Yup, the others pretty much said it.

Just be careful what you do with your page. Facebook is really cracking down and blocking publishing rights for pretty much no reason (well actually, the reason is that people are making fan pages when they should actually be groups). Just warning you in advance ;)
 
Hey peter, how many fans do you have on the page that you to verify now?
 
Well, when i got upto 35k members it was fine, but then today its asked for verification and it has 51k members.
