Vegas trip Oct 2012?

Is there going to be a BHW trip to Las Vegas next October,this year it seemed to fail.

Im still waiting for Mugshots to send me my tickets? He promised me airline, a room, hookers and all the 18 year old Scotch I can drink. I keep checking my mailbox, anyday now they should arrive. Its gonna be epic.

Still it was a fun thread particularly with all of the banter from the rubes being taken in by his bullshit. If somebody gives you something always ask why.

well i believed him in the beginning... but yeah, too good to be true. if someone in real life told me that, i wouldn't believe him. so i don't know why i believed someone on the internet. that faded pretty quick though.

You know you make a good point. In real life you would watch his eyes, his behavior, his vocals and his mannerisms as he sprouted this bullshit and immediately your built-in bullshit detector would sound off. On the Internet is just a few seemingly sincere words and there's no way to know what creature actually lurks behind those words.

It's the same reason why even the calmest people can become maniacs behind the wheel of a car. In real life you wouldn't cut off somebody at a door or shove your way in, your body language and eye contact with the other person as well as a couple of polite words would stop such aggressive behavior... well for most normal people. But put us behind a two ton car and we become isolated monsters combating other isolated monsters on the roadway.

Without our normal societal filters and without real world contact with people the Internet allows the worst to happen.
