Which forum software do you prefer I prefer vbulletin it has a lot more functionality.

I'm a big VBulletin fan as well as a big phpBB fan. I've also been looking at MyBB and SMF recently and think they are both solid boards. The thing with forums is if you want to get big, you'll find a lot of the big forums are VBulletin. You will find big boards for any forum you just have to find the right subject or niche. It's really a matter of personal choice, but I think VBulletin gets bigger faster.

What are you looking for? Awesome modifications? Best Security? Coolest looking? I'd go with vbulletin

vBulletin for sure, there's really no comparison IMO (But that's all it is, my opinion )

vBulletin has the best support forum I have ever been to. If you ever have an issue they are there for you. Aside from vBulletin, SMF is a better choice for security reasons.
