hmm my VB is extremely rusty but couldn't you put sever frames on the right and when you click the button the corresponding frame becomes visible and the rest invisible?
well...all i want to make is an .exe file...
and i will be able to edit it, eg: video list, name etc.
is there any other way you suggest rather than using vb?
Are you sure these are not just VB6 webbrowser control rendering some page ?
There is a few ways I could think of but here are the 2 ones that it looks more similar to in the image shown:
A) Using a webbrowser control and rendering a page of your site.
B) Using panels to split the application window into multiple sides and creating custom controls
Here is a roughly example in C# using frames and webbrowser, by clicking a button it would navigate to a different page (just 1 button is working with sample).
You could do it entirelly with frames as well and like it was pointed about by others you would make panels visible / invisible.
You could even create the panels separated as controls and load em as requested.
Using frames you will have some difficults to make the exact layout but not so hard, using webbrowser you can mainly design it as an html page with the application and/or on your own site and load it.
Keep in mind you will need to remove margins, dock panels, use tabled panels and other features to reproduce the exact layout with panels.
With WPF this would be 10x easier to do and format
well when you click the buttons at the left...the box on the right will load the related images...
and i would want to make an *.ini file so that the path for the files are editable or somehow...
its a .exe file so i think it is vb6 made...
anyone knows how to code this with vb? or other source?
no database linkage is needed though because all the things can be edited in the *.ini file...and the problem is i can't seem to
create the *.ini file...
