hey all, trying to help out and get paid at the same time... I don't have a job at the moment so I'm accepting small programming projects

send me some ideas and i'll see what I can do, i'll just update progress in this thread if you want to get in touch directly use skyp3... syfenx3

Its an autoblog script for Wordpress MU that the guy just released on here maybe.. 5 days ago. I was mostly joking.

Honestly one thing I always wanted to see that I have no idea if it is possible is a program that interfaces with a cheap u.s. prepaid cellphone to mass send text messages for marketing.

Let`s see how unlimited those packages really are..
 
Be creative and try to think of anything that you would like to see made.
then see if you can create it with vb.net . If not, learn a new language.
VB.net is only as good as the api's that you use with it.
So learn a few. Create your own game or build up your portfolio to attrackt possible clients.
 
a computer controlled physical dialer of some kind? lol

That would be like $0.05 / message! Also I'm pretty sure it's very illegal and there would be easier ways to do it like email to txt ([email protected] or whatever) or AIM (+1Number).
 
lol, I have tons of ideas but have no programming experience.
 
I`m not sure where you live or the last time you looked into disposable phones but most prepaids around here now are 40-50 a month unlimited everything and several companies have unlimited text for between 10-25 a month if you just want a text phone.

The program I had in mind with link to the phone and like.. force it to send out texts one after another to a new number each time.. if I could code it I would. If you look into text marketing sending them is between 1-5 cents a text. Thats why your phone doesnt get bombarded now. My idea would change that I think. You could buy a few phones and text a whole freaking area code if you had software like I`m thinking.

Oh you said prepaid so I assumed you were trying to do it with an anonymous number.

I mean you could probably write an android app or something and have it run pretty well. You could probably also do it the way I said like by email or AIM. I used to text bomb people with my aim spammer and I'm sure I could have loaded a list of numbers in there but my fear has always been that I'd seriously get arrested. Telemarketing to cell phones is illegal and I'm sure this is too.
