VAT Nr.

Hello ,
I have created a website in the jewelery section. Now I was looking around for some affilate programs and they ask me for the VAT number. My webhosting is also in USA and I will do my promotion (Web-Marketing) only in the the US market. I dont have a VAT nr. right now, I would like to claim a VAT nr. after I am absolute sure my website is earning some good money. Is there a solution to deal without this special VAt nr. the first time? Please let me know It would be great to hear something from you.

just contact the affiliates programs directly and ask them about the VAT number. I'm sure they will make a plan for you, since they obviously do want you to sell their product for them!

If you sign up as a Company they may ask for VAT. Company in any EU country can obtain VAT number when they would like or they will have to if country threshold level is reached.For Germany - 17500 EUR. Basically you can explain that you dont have one yet.
