VAT is an international tax number, in my country it's locally called BTW and in your country it has a different name too.
Customs are import costs.
What kind of items you want to import?
protein ... and the idea is should I pay VAT if I will not pay custom ?

No it works differently. I assume the company that you ordering with requires a VAT number, only registered businesses get that number so they can write of their xx% tax that they charge you with.
If customs intercept your package which they probably will because you will probably order in bulk they charge import tax which goes to your country.
Shipping from where ?
its for PERSONAL use but maybe they will treat it like bussiness

yes from German retailer , But I shouldnt worry , what that mean ? I will pay VAT aand custom or not ?

You need to know armenian laws.
In EU, if value of your shipment exceeds certain value, you have to pay VAT. If the value is even higher, they charge you custom fees + VAT.
Parcels marked as gift are free from VAT and custom fees.
As Armenia isn't part of EU, you need to do your study.
