So I know the person who bought the handle @me. He spent quite a bit on the username but is repeatedly getting taken down by Instagram and coming back up. He is gaining followers just for being tagged. Lot of his followers are Arabic because that is where the original owner of the account is from. If he was looking to sell how much do you think someone would buy it for? Granted Instagram will keep taking the page down and consistently posting will become very hard.
