Value of non-hyperlinked URLs.

What is the value of non-hyperlinked URLs? I.e. a plain text link that is not clickable. From my research I've read that Google spiders will still crawl such links and that these links are still passed some juice. Any experiences?

Should have some value, probably very little. I was thinking of doing a test on it doing stricly non-linked URLs and see if they boosted rankings at all.
 
yes crawler can easily identity non hyper links but i doubt it gives any useful link juice.
If that was the case, then it could have opened a can of worms because you can post article's in millions of place which don't allow htmls/ hyper links.
 
I guess some tests need carried out them, but for now, I don't suppose they carry as much weight as a hyperlink itself.
 
Okay thanks everyone. I have an amazing source of high quality domains that I can get my links on. I'll experiment with it. I would do a case study but I'm a complete noob and wouldn't be able to reference past experience to put my findings in perspective.

i don't think non-hyperlinked URL's have any such specific value.
 
I think it should have some value. If not now then in future it will.

If someone is mentioning your domain then it gets a mention value?!

Sorry to say guys, but non hyperlinked link's aren't even "link's". "Mention" - may be, but their usefulness is very doubtful 'cause you really can literally have thousands of them. IMO
