I have a need to validate my users physical addresses, my plan is to build a database with their address and 2 codes that I dispatch to them in the post. Once they receive the codes they go to a web link (via QR / manually etc) and input these 2 codes only (nothing else is needed on the webpage), I then get confirmation once those 2 codes match the database and I sign them off as a verified user.
Is there a product on the market that does this? Does this type of authentication / verification have a name?
So in other words, I want to send something to an address and have them relay it back to me so I can confirm that address, but as automated as possible via a database and website.
