Anyone tried their monthly subscription service? I've noticed that it's much cheaper than directly buying credits from them. For instance 100k/month Guru subscription plan is only 30USD, while if you buy them as credits it's 70USD. Is there a catch or am I missing something here?

Great find! I don't think there is any catch.
That would 10 credits. It costs 1 credit per 30 secs of view time.
I believe 5 mins is the max view time, which cost 10 credits.
The major problem with Vagex is you can expect to spend at least double the credits for the number of views you want. (eg. 10,000+ credits to get MAYBE 5,000 views, and thats IF you don't select any of the other options for the video, such as Likes, Comments or Subscribers). 
Don't even get me started about running the viewers to earn free credits... thats the biggest F'up there is and that's because the backend is nothing more than a hacked up version of an old website visit exchange script.
