I have a customer that wants 250,000 views regularly and will pay well for them. I have tried a few different services on and off BHW, but most seem to be bot views (no comments, like etc despite high views). Anyway, tried Vagex the other day and unlike a lot of services, I got many likes and comments (and importantly my video is now showing in the suggested lists of many other videos...something videos don't seem to do with many services, I am YT noob, maybe someone would be kind enough to explain the criteria for getting in 'suggested videos') My main question is though, if I use Vagex, will it show in YT's stats page, will my customer be able to tell the traffic is from Vagex? More importantly, does YT know these views come from Vagex?

Sorry for being a noob, new to YT. Appreciate your help,

James :)

Most people won't be able to tell, but it can be easily detected, since vagex comments are extremely spammy, not to mention that views will come from videos with unrelated titles.

So yes, manual review can definitely detect it and a detection algorithm can very easily be implemented (if it's not already).

Whether they decide to ban you or not is another issue, because there is no way for them to tell if it was you who did it or your competitor.

Thanks Fxbob:) So stay away from Vagex then. Can you recommend a good service?

isnt it obvious when they see the strange pattern in the beginning of the videos life? thats when most would use the views with any kind of paid views. a competitor wouldnt try anything like that until later on when the video is ranking.

fxbob, the issues you mentioned, isnt that the case with any pay for view service or do other providers do it differently?

james, vagex are the cheapest i have found for short videos. the way i understand it, you need to watch around half the video length for it to count as a view. at vagex, 1 credit is 30 seconds. so if you have a video under 1:30-2 min, vagex is the cheapest. any longer then you will be better off with view tornado or something like that. also, if you go vagex, dont "purchase" credits. just keep changing your membership package back and forth. its much cheaper that way.

I didn't really say stay away from vagex, I was just answering your question about whether youtube can find out that you're using vagex or not.

I would honestly recommend you get real traffic, that is real people who are likely to be interested in your stuff.

This generally leaves the most natural pattern; almost everything else can be detected.

James I have been using Vagex now for many months, I have not had any issues with them at all. Yes the comments can look some what spammy, if your going to be using business videos and stuff it's not worth implementing the comments, however if your just using it for PPD purposes or anything like that it will be fine.

You have the option of turning of the comments and likes anyway, the views work very well and have been for me since I joined.

Hope that helps!

For sure, but it's a chicken and egg situation isn't it. Unless your video is super viral, how to get it to the top of the search without an artificial boost.

That does help, thanks mate :)

I wouldn't say it's necessarily obvious that you did it, there are scenarios where say someone creates a new channel for his company, tweets about it; his competitor finds out and targets it.

But I agree that most view services can be detected, I usually can detect a vagex video by just looking at the comments though, it takes less than a second, they can definitely do better, they can scrap comments from similar videos, they can make views appear to come from other more related videos, etc...

If your customer wants 250,000 views regularly, he/she must not be expecting anything that is purely natural. There will be some semi automated or automated elements to it.

About services like vagex and u2bviews, they are not really bots. They DO make you, and all other users who are involved for that matter, watch the videos for a certain period of time. Now, you could start a video and put your browser in the background. Youtube can't and won't accuse you of putting your browser to bg, would it? Pattern or no pattern, the views are from real human viewers. Theoretically you could hire 2 million ppl in different places and pay them watch your video. Aren't those perfectly legit views?

So, use your better judgement now.

Iv been using vagex for a few month and i am Pro member , and it has been working out great for me :) I only do it for the views tho and maybe a few likes . Comments on all of these programs and sites look spammy so if you just want the views and a few likes i would definettly recommend vagex :)

I know it works on a time watched per view thing. How much money do I need to spend to get 250k views, how long, best package etc. Thanks mate :) Will turn off comments for sure hahaha

Sorry for off topic but guys how much views you get daily with vagex?

skin, not sure but you can add the same video multiple times so infinity views per day
james, if you change your membership back and forth like a said, its $30 per 100k - 30 second views
but depends on the length.

haha, if you only knew what my client is willing to pay. I feel like I'm robbing him actually. Maybe I will give him a 'discount'.

is he expecting those views to convert? they are not going to

As someone has already said, I recommend just switching back and forth from Expert -----> Guru. You get the credits way cheaper that way and I've done it a few times in one day. As long as the site Admin is online at the time to allocate those credits and upgrade you then its a speedy process.

The comments are spammy though, thats the annoying part. The program would be perfect otherwise.
